I’ve been trying nail salons all over chesterfield and i hadn’t found one i liked until today! I was very pleased with Lux nails. The lady was very nice and communicated well and i felt comfortable there. She also did a beautiful job on my nails and depending on how long they last i will definitely be a regular here!
My fiancé and I arrived at this salon around 5:50 PM and were seated immediately. We both requested the Exclusive Pedicure, which is advertised as a premium, relaxing service. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect what was promised. The pedicure water was cold, and I had to ask for warmer water. The technician appeared rushed and did not allow adequate soaking time before beginning the service. I’m honestly very disappointed with my experience here. From the moment I walked in, I felt rushed and unwelcomed. The nail tech barely spoke to me, didn’t ask what I wanted in detail, and seemed more focused on finishing quickly than doing a quality job. The shaping was uneven, the polish was sloppy around the edges, and within just a couple of days my nails already started lifting. The only thing good about my service was the finger nail outcome. Toni was my nail tech, seemed sweet but didn’t allow me to clean my nails(when asked and I stated 2x), he didn’t clean my nails or cuticles(language barrier he acted as if he had gender me from being more persistent). At the end of my finger nails being done he drilled the inside of the new nails causing my real nails to be Brooke and irregularly hanging from nails (I thought he was drilling excess gel).
