I really appreciate Dr. Patel seeing me on short notice. He did a thorough exam, explained my diagnosis, answered questions and gave clear instructions, all after business hours! He is committed to his profession. The support staff at Retina Center of Texas, Dallas is also professional and caring. Their commitment to quality care makes a big difference when visiting the doctors there.
I went to Dr Patel for a macular hole. I was having blurry vision in my left eye and thought it was cataracts so I wasn’t in a hurry to fix it. My optometrist discovered the hole and referred me to Dr Patel. He is very personable, and answers all your questions. Dr Patel did surgery and repaired the issue. His staff is very nice and the office is run very efficiently.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Luv Patel! He is confident, personable, professional, and if you need retina surgery, he's your man. I highly recommend him! I was blinded by a complete retinal detachment which is something you should have taken care of immediately, but because of my own ignorance, and the state of the medical insurance shortcomings and hoop jumping, it was a month before he was able to operate.
