There was a moose! I came along with my sons 5th grade class for Lutherhaven's Outdoor Education. When we got back on the school bus all I heard was great things from the kids and the adults. Their sttaff knew what they were doing, did it well and were great with the kids! I will be pushing to get an overnighter there for next year and hopefully send my son there for the summer camp!
Best Camp, Outdoor Ed and Retreat Facility in North Idaho and Eastern Wash! I have retreated as well as had a child attend Lutherhaven's outdoor education program. Unbelievable! The staff are knowledgable and enthusiastic, meals superb, new buildings, and dining hall with a killer view. Love it. I have been at other facilities around the world, and this one is a hidden gem right here in N. Idaho. I'm going to send my kids to summer camp and expect it to be just as good. I can't really say enough.
So much fun! I went to a retreat here many years back and I have very fond memories of how nice it was. There were a lot of things to do, sledding, skiing, throwing snowbalss at each other, the accomadations were fine, not fancy but adequate. I would recommend it to anyone here in North Idaho looking for a retreat to go to. I think they did a fine job.
camp Camp Lutherhaven is a wonderful summer camp for your children. The employees and staff are very well trained and responsible adults. The kids have a great time and learn alot of valuable lessons.
