I've been with LHN for years but recently the communication is non-existent. My wife has an issue that needs attention from a hematologist. It's been over a month and nothing has been scheduled. We have contacted the call center twice to get help. It's useless. We like our doctor, but are looking elsewhere.
I don’t understand the other reviews. I have went here for the last 3 1/2 years. I never have trouble reaching someone when I call unless I need to speak with a nurse, specifically. Even then, call back time is not excessive. The entire staff there, as a whole, are some of the nicest people and my doctors have been very competent and thorough. You're always gonna have your ups and downs with every place you go to. I wanna say I hate going to the doctor just like everyone else, having alot of anxiety and other issues it makes it hard looking for a doctors office I'm comfortable with. Heard my fair share of mixed reviews from everyone but I've never had any issue. Was able to view doctors accepting new patients, or where the best place was to start. After over 30 years with the same provider, I'm looking for a new doctor - one that is not in Lutheran Health Network. The reason for this is the new call center system. No one likes it - not the patients, not the doctors, not the nurses. I am no longer able to contact my doctor's office directly and going through the call center is worthless. Worst idea ever.
Getting in touch with the doctors office is impossible to do. Ever since they changed their system you can not talk with someone in the local office. The person that you are talking to, is not even in the same state. When i got a call back from my doctors nurse today, even she says that they hate the system because they are over booking their appointments.
