Nice Italian restaurant in Bird Rock. Food is ok. Can be very salty
Nice Italian restaurant in bird rock. Osso bolucco was way too salty
We just moved to the neighborhood and excited to try it. We stopped by on a whim on a Saturday night at about 5:30. We were the second table to be seated. We promptly ordered as everyone was hungry. The artichoke appetizer came out cold (three artichoke hearts for $17) and pizza was ok neither worthy of a good or bad review. 6:30 comes by and we inquire about the status of our food and he said it was started. 7:00 comes and we ask again and he says it should be out shortly. 7:30 come and he says it is on his way. Calamari - well prepared but inconsistent quality (fishy on recent visit) 3-5/5 Rigatoni w/ sausage and vodka sauce - good sausage but overall very heavy 4/5. Pizza Lupi - large pizza, soft bready crust (too bready for my preference), good toppings but overall unremarkable 3/5. Complimentary table bread is soft and a nice touch 5/5.
