Lunkers overlooks beautiful Lake Kampeska in northeastern South Dakota. Right off I-29, Watertown is a destination city for South Dakota and Minnesota. It is the home of artists Terry Redlin and Joshua Spies, a thriving industrial community, a wonderful zoo, many outlets for recreation and shopping, a top notch school district and vocational school. And, of course, Lunkers, which is located at 100 North Lake Drive. We are the restaurant with the view and the most beautiful sunsets in South Dakota!

The only good thing about this place was LOCATION!! Poor food quality and unfriendly! Even if there was a wedding in the other room was NO excuse for poor service, cold food and unfriendly feeling. It was highly recommended by another establishment in town ~ we chose it because it was on the lake, which was beautiful ... however, we were HIGHLY disappointed! May possibly give it another chance, but would like to think for the prices and food choices, it would have been far classier! Unhappy ~ sorry waitress for the lousy tip... read more

We enjoyed an excellent Easter buffet at Lunker's today! All the food was wonderful and the service was superb! Thank you, Jeff Pike and staff, for going above & beyond!
Aug 16th 2014 my son,Nick and Heather had their wedding dinner and dance there.The food was amazing, the guest all loved the food.Thanks for the great food and service.
This is the first time I have left a negative comment for a business. We took our group to celebrate a special event. We waited over two hours for our food to be served, and then it was cold. We didn't bother to have them reheat it because last time we were there the same thing. That time we had some returned to be warmed, after about 20 minutes had to remind them to bring it back. It isn't the staff, it is poor management. We won't go back again.
