Best nails I have ever had! It took a good bit but it was most definitely worth it. I recommend Kevin he is very kind and funny and took his time. Great guy! Do recommend!!
I’ve been growing and strengthening my nails for the last year, without using any polish, gel, or powder. My nails were long and strong before coming here. After just two appointments for gel manicures, with the appointments three weeks apart, my nails are so brittle and weak that they are bending and breaking with the gel still on my nail. Don’t ever like to shit on local businesses. But wife’s manicure was pretty straight-up bad. Missed sides of nails. Polish went up onto fingers & such. She’s not an uppity gal. Just straight up not good. Haha
I was really disappointed with my experience here. I specifically asked for gel nails with an almond shape, but what I received was regular polish only, zero shape. To make matters worse, I also paid for a simple kids’ nail polish application, and the polish completely peeled off my daughter’s nail in one piece within two hours of leaving. I’ve been a loyal customer at Lunar Nails for years, but unfortunately my experience tonight has made me reconsider returning. I walked in around 5 PM for a manicure and pedicure. After paying for the services on my credit card, I attempted to tip the technicians in cash, as the salon sign indicates is preferred. I explained that I had a $100 bill I wanted to break, with $40 going to one technician and $40 to the other.
