I’ve been a loyal customer at Lunar Nails for years, but unfortunately my experience tonight has made me reconsider returning. I walked in around 5 PM for a manicure and pedicure. After paying for the services on my credit card, I attempted to tip the technicians in cash, as the salon sign indicates is preferred. I explained that I had a $100 bill I wanted to break, with $40 going to one technician and $40 to the other. Here visiting my daughter and took her for a regular manicure as a special treat. She showed the grouchy lady what she wanted and was quickly told no because she didn’t want gel polish. The woman pointed to the basket full of samples and didn’t offer to help find the color even though she explained and showed a picture. To my surprise the cost was 35. for regular polish manicure that took 30 minutes! Very unprofessional and expensive for services.

One Star – Absolutely Horrible Experience This was hands down one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever had. What was supposed to be a relaxing appointment for a couple friends turned into a painful and messy ordeal. The technician flooded my water tub, dumped the flooded water into another clients tub, showed zero care or precision, and actually made me bleed.
