When I first arrived, I was calmly and sweetly greeted by Pelagie at the front desk. She was very kind and got me checked in with no issues. Her demeaner was very gentle and her customer service was top notch. I booked a 1 hour Lunar Signature Moon Massage with Shannon and it was absolute PERFECTION. I was expecting great things from this place based on previous reviews, and I went there with my partner planning to become members. First, there is no couple massage option but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. My massage was decent, but my partner's was very lacking. His therapist didn't address the concerns and areas of tension that he brought up at the beginning of the appointment. I’ve been a loyal Lunar customer for almost a decade at this point but the new management is sub par at best. I had one appointment canceled with no explanation to find one of my favorite therapists was no longer on the schedule and another one where the therapist I booked with was no longer there but they never bothered to let me know ahead of an appointment. I’ll be canceling my membership and going elsewhere. My favorite therapists Derrick, Tim, Margaret and Theresa are all gone. Such a disappointment.

My go-to spot for a massage in DC. I've seen a few different massage therapists and they've all been great. Online booking works perfectly and I've always been able to grab an appointment at a good time even last-minute. It's a cute, clean space, and the desk staff is nice. And also the price is super reasonable. If you're looking for a good massage at a convenient time and decent price, this is for you.

This place somehow manages to consistently hire the most excellent, effective, and caring massage therapists. They clearly know what they’re doing and care about their clients. I’ve had massages with Shuichi, Margaret, Tim, Theresa and Shalicia and all of them were fantastic. They all have different styles and strengths but I would not hesitate to book an apt with any of them.
