Filling the gap left by Wallingford's now defunct Beeliner Diner, this West Seattle eatery called Luna Park Cafe plainly enjoys its mission of keeping retro atmosphere alive. Everything here is a reminder of a bygone era. The portions of meatloaf, the full turkey dinners and the burgers are cheap and enormous, so the only things you will need in abundance are nostalgia for yesteryear and a healthy appetite.

I've been here a bunch over the years and always had a great experience. Today, however, is different. I called just before the dinner rush to have a gift certificate sent and was wowed by AUTUMN! I know she's a manager (and for good reason) but it doesn't hurt to lay kudos on her for being so very helpful and kind! People like her keep small businesses doing just fine no matter what the current trend is. Thanks Luna Park!

Just finished another top notch breakfast. Great grub and service as always!
I had the hot chocolate and the eggs Benedict. I could not finish the whole meal. The food was incredible but the service far exceeded my expectations. The place is lively, fun and full of interesting things to look at if conversation escapes you. The staff are welcoming, accommodating and brilliant at their job. Everyone should go here at least once to experience it all.
