I recently attended the Holistic Gathering Conference in Waterloo, and it was extremely disappointing. This was not a conference, more like a poorly organized sales event, and not worth the gas money to travel out of town for. There were no tables or proper spaces to sit, write, or engage in workshops, and there was a clear lack of basic planning and support for sessions, including no proper tech or setup. I went to the 100th midsummer market in Guelph today and the market was great. Lots of vendors with reasonable prices. Lots of variety of products too. My daughter attends lots of these types of markets and her swag bags are really nice, they give natural lip balms, candies, candles, crystals and sometimes a piece of jewellery. This swag bag today was such a disappointment!! It was a spoon?! Omg. What a terrible swag bag for the 100th market! I was super unhappy with this.
