I purchased a 2020 F-150 from Lums GMC in November 2022 and also purchased a 5-year/100,000-mile extended warranty. When my engine failed at around 70,000 miles, the warranty covered the repair, and I appreciated the help I received at that time. Recently, at just under 94,000 miles, my front differential failed. When a repair shop contacted the warranty company, I was told my coverage had expired. DO NOT GO TO LUMS FOR ANY SERVICE ON YOUR VEHICLE!!! We took our 2023 Tahoe (just at 70k miles) to Lums after a transmission code showed up. My husband ran a diagnostic, and the dealership confirmed the same issue. They changed the transmission fluid and said it looked fine. But we were waiting on the valve which didn’t come with the rest of the parts, which caused delay. Then we were told we needed a transmission pan, on backorder for a week, but parts kept getting delayed. By April 30th, they said it would be done May 1st.... read more
The service department at Lums has really been turned around and my experience this week was phenomenally better than any in the past 4 years that we’ve been servicing our GMC there. Shaun has taken over as our service advisor and made sure my experience was quick and seamless! I will no longer dread having to take my car in for an oil change, it was THAT much better. Thank you Lums for recognizing the problem and fixing it! And thank you Shaun!
Chantel and the whole service department have me considering switching entirely to GMC. Thank you for prompt service and incredible communication.
Rick Donaldson was not able to help on my needs, there was a simple part that i need to return to GM y it took about 3 weeks to do only because i called GM directly so when i checked with him he lied to and told me that return was in process so i called again to GM and it not even started. He has not the capability to do that kind of work and been negative. That was not a good experience.
