I cannot say enough good things about Lumos Nox. I'm a guy, and I don't do salons (not my vibe). I have a barber who I like and trust, but I needed someone for a professional dye job for the 2025 Chicago Pride parade. I keep coming back here because I love everything about this salon; the ambience is really chill and cozy, the music's just right, the cat walking around is neat, and most of all, Alex is fantastic and the bestest stylist I've had! I'm the happiest I've been about my hair in a long long while, and I can't recommend Alex enough tbh. i have a hard time trusting others to do my hair because it never comes out how i want but this place completely changed my mind on it. i did a bit of research before booking, selecting a stylist who specialized in the haircut that i wanted. her name was alex and she did everything to make sure i was happy with my haircut! the environment was very inclusive and welcoming. they will forever have my business moving forward! loved every minute of it!
Been here multiple times with multiple stylists (Emily, Hanna, and Taylor) and I’ve had the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon. Not only do they give you exactly the cut you want, but its usually better if you follow the advice they give you. I understand my hair better than I ever did before because of the advice and even product recommendations that they have given me. It will be my permanent salon!
