I highly do not recommend this man or any of his properties. I was shown several disgusting houses and even sadly still tried renting two of them was even told he excepted the program that I’m in on four different occasions and then at last minute denied me because of my program but it’s okay because they’re all “trash” anyways hence forth the low rental rate. Absolutely no respect for people or their belongings. Had a falling out with the people cleaning up a place near our apartments where they cut our bike cord and started wheeling one of our bikes away. Thankfully I saw it. We're not even affiliated with Lumland...
Jim and Dixie Lum are professionals that rent houses and properties in Winchester Va. They are personable and ask about the welfare of their tenants. They have a good maintenance team that responds when needed. The Lum's are friendly but businesslike and expect the same from their tenants.
Unprofessional and stingy. Poor maintenance of property and poor tenant relations. Threatened legal action when I called fire department to check on light with water leaking into it. Do not rent from Jim Lum or you will be sorry!
Do not EVER rent from these people. They are HORRIBLE.
