I needed to learn some updated makeup skills and chose Luminous Beauty because I wanted to go to a LGBTQ-owned business. Betsey offers personalized makeup lessons and gender-affirming makeup lessons. What a wonderful experience! Betsey is so kind, warm, and easy to talk to. She helped me practice makeup skills in an approachable and encouraging way. I feel confident in continuing to practice these new techniques and looking forward to feeling more confident in my daily look!

Betsey and the Team did a wonderful job for both my wedding makeup and hair. I am a fairly indecisive bride, and they were very patient with my ideas throughout the process. Betsey went out of her way to make me feel comfortable expressing honesty about my hair and makeup, which is such a personal thing! I got lots of compliments on both my hair and makeup, and couldn’t have asked for anything better. So grateful!

The Perfect Experience Transparent pricing, so you knew exactly what you where paying for and the value of the service and products. Amazing application! A friend and I (in our 30s) went and received personal makeup lessons with Betsey. I couldn’t recommend this more. It was a great experience, I love the personalized looks she gave each of us (they were different and met our different skin tones and styles!), she provided the specific products she used and recommended, and she herself was great and seemed like a really cool person in general. If you’re worried your makeup hasn’t changed from high school, give Betsey a try!

I highly recommend working with Luminous Beauty for your wedding beauty needs! I worked with Thadd for makeup and Esther for hair, both for myself and several of my attendants, and they were both amazing! I was happy with my hair and makeup, as were the other ladies! Esther and Thadd were very fun to chat with the day of, and made the process very comfortable. Communication with Luminous Beauty was super easy and transparent. They are a great choice for beauty needs!
