In this salon Tonya who is an ukranian girl did my hair coloring in March 2024. After a couple of weeks my hair was in the worst condition, it became damaged. I still suffer with it. For beautiful photos she burned my hair, although I did not ask for such blonde hair, and I paid a lot of money, if you want your hair to be in great condition avoid this place or at least her.

I’m typically pretty picky, so I did my research before eventually finding Tonya through a recommendation, and I couldn’t be happier that I booked with her! She did a cut & color (airtouch) and I was so impressed with her technique—and as someone who has had their hair professionally cut and dyed for 15+ years, that’s really hard to do. I’ve been coming here for several years now to see both Taylor and Tonya, and both have done a fantastic job on my hair (balayage, long, and short haircuts). The space is clean and the vibe is really relaxing. Would absolutely recommend!

I’ve been going to Luminary Salon since I moved to Portland in September 2020. Marisa is a genius at giving the best casual, low fuss, CHIC haircuts and colorings. The salon itself is bright, has parking (!!!!!!), and is filled with beautiful plants.
