Luminary Fitness is the best gym in Grand Rapids – I joined in July 2022 and it changed my life for the better. The coaching is excellent, the workouts challenge you every day, and the community is unparalleled. People push each other and genuinely want to see you improve. If you've been curious about CrossFit or just want a gym that holds you accountable, this is where you want to be. I love this place and I can't recommend it enough.
I joined Luminary about 6 months ago. I cannot say enough great things about this gym. I have been going to a standard gym for a couple decades and Luminary has been such a game changer for me. So much more beneficial in my opinion vs a standard gym. It’s pretty incredible how much stronger you get if you are consistent with going to their classes. I can’t say enough good things about this gym. The sense of community here is incredible—everyone is friendly, encouraging, and uplifting. It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out or have been working out for years, you feel like you belong. It’s rare to find a place that combines great workouts with such a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Awesome gym! Luminary is the total package. Not every gym has great coaching, all the equipment you need, and an amazing community—but Luminary hits on all fronts. The coaching staff is knowledgeable, professional, and truly invested in every member’s progress. I started working out with Coach Courtney in January 2025 and it’s been nothing short of LIFE ALTERING! Courtney tailors workouts to my specific goals, calculates my macros and encourages me every week. By working with Courtney in private sessions, I’ve gained the confidence to join the group workout classes when I’ve found a positive, welcoming community! Highly recommended Luminary Fitness!
