This place is below 1 star. Went in their today to get a spark plug aND a filter .took 20 mins. They don't even know the price of anything they have to look it up in a book .. service is so slow an they don't care I hate going their good thing I found another place

Poor communication which lead to charging me for something that wasn't at all communicated to me before the service. I called, having never been to the store, to have my unit picked up for what the manufacturer said qualified as covered under the warranty. The issue ended up not being an issue at all and Lumax charged me $35 for running a full diagnostics check on a brand new machine. I talked to two people and explained that I'm being charged for something that was not communicated to me up front or before the service work ... read more
I went to Lumax Power Equipment to buy a mower. They stated they had a good used John Deere in great shape, one small spot of rust on one fender, otherwise nothing wrong. I told the salesman I had over 45 minute drive to get there so I wanted an honest answer about the mower I was going to buy. When I get there this thing looks like it's been run through the wringer. Terrible customer service, SLOW, high priced. They don't appreciate the customer,, took 31 days to sharpen two blades and put on a deck belt then had the nerve to charge over $160 for it!!!
I have been doing business with lumax for a few years now and I love the family feeling when I walk in the door. They know your name. They have always done whatever it takes to make me happy. Have recommended them to many friends and all have been extremely satisfied. Ask for ralph there.
The people at Lumax Power went out of thier way to find my parts, and get my mower up and running. I was very impressed with thier knowledge and desire to make sure I was satisfied with the service I received.
