RecommendedLuma is such a wonderful space! It has served my every need from the very beginning of my pregnancy, through my birth, to now coming to postnatal yoga with my 5 month old. I’m so glad he gets to flourish in such a loving environment! 🥰
Space is lovely. Valerie is an excellent teacher. There is no pretense. Everyone is friendly and inviting. The class schedule is perfect for me. I really enjoy this studio! I will be back.
My husband and I really enjoyed our experience in the Birthing From Within weekend workshop with Kymm Ann. We didn't really know what to expect, but we found it to be very educational with great physical and mental coping methods for labor in a warm, supportive environment. We knew we could have taken a class offered through our healthcare provider but I wanted something less clinical and I wanted good tools to help us try to stick to a natural birth plan. Luma offers an incredibly supportive community to families at all stages of life. I practice there, bring my toddler, and walk out feeling like I have been able to achieve self care for both my son and myself.

Yes, I had a wonderful time there when I was on vacation. I purchased a new student membership and attended almost every day. Working around my vacation plans, I went to whatever class fit in and was able to try some new types of classes, such as Melt. I felt like I had my own little yoga retreat. Fantastic and truly special Yoga Studio. Inclusive and warm - as a stressed mom of a young one, I felt welcome and cared for. The staff treats you and your child like family, and the studio is set up to foster community. The classes themselves are of high quality and varied - the instruction is intelligent and clear. The participants come from all ages and backgrounds. It’s a genuinely unique studio that walks the talk of yoga. Blown away and grateful Santa Cruz has this place!!

I came to this studio from out of town and I love it! The toddler classes are so wonderful and my son enjoyed them so much. I am so glad I found it while visiting. I hope to be back again �
