I've been to Lula's a few times, and it's consistently been a great experience. From the fabulous cocktails and wine through to incredibly yummy desert, this place is rocking it. The fish, as everything on the menu, is exquisitely prepared, the mashed potatoes melt in your mouth, the gnocchi fabulous, penne unforgettable, and the filet prepared exactly as ordered. The Sommelier, Tomas, is a revelation. He really knows what's what in wine & cocktails. His descriptions of the meals are enlightening. I'll be back.

Lula’s had its ups and downs, making it an okay experience. The mocktails were delicious, the wine was okay, nothing extraordinary. The focaccia bread they brought to the table with our drinks was stale and tasteless and they brought it with butter instead of olive oil. The appetizers were delicious, the eggplant parmigiana, burrata, meatballs and pizza were outstanding but served lukewarm. Wow, but not in a good way. Wow, we were disappointed! Expected a better culinary experience from a Todd English restaurant. We made a reservation about a week before on OpenTable. Arrived on time and waited several minutes for the hostess to arrive. When she arrived, she confirmed our reservation and told us we had our choice of two tables. We had a wonderful dinner and evening tonight at this restaurant. We ordered every appetizer, steal tartare, raw fish, and a fig pane. Each dish was delicious and inventive. Our server, Neely was attentive and worked hard to accommodate food allergies. The decor is lovely. We enjoyed our evening and will return again soon.
