My heart is breaking! Just found out Luke's is closing tomorrow. A little peice of my soul id's dead. This is the best one of them all. Being from Chicago area it was like home, and a place my dad shared with me for years before he died. Boo donut shop taking the space.
Greg has been doing this for years, man I can always go for something from a hot dog to a gyro but my face will always love the Beef with cheese an hot peppers..
I agree, they seemed bothered to to have to take my order and never a smile to be given by any of the employees ... but the food is "good". It's a toss up ...
The BEST homemade Italian beef and sausage sandwich I have ever eaten! Extremely friendly, it is a new family FAV!!
