My brother had kidney transplant early September 2025.. it has been a real nightmare, from a botched surgery to nephrectomy and continues to lose blood. Was discharged from Methodist in January 30 2026. Had had recurrent hospitalizations and recently Methodist refused to take him back to repair their problem. He is currently in the hospital..All this hype about Methodist being one of the top transplant hospital is just that, HYPE, pure hypocrisy
Dr Shin is an amazing surgeon and the staff at the Methodist Transplant Hospital were attentive and very knowledgeable. My recipient and I just hit our one year anniversary and everything is going great. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Very bad experience. Messed up my surgery which put me in life threatening situation.
