I have been a patient of Dr. Valls for almost 20yrs. I'm not one to put up with anyone less than competent, let alone someone who I rely on to make sure my health and well being is at its highest level. His staff has bent over backwards if I needed to get in sooner than the scheduling office could accommodate me. His head/lead nurse, Callie has always been available to me if I needed immediate access to the doctor. STAY FAR AWAY from this (so called) doctor. He is blunt, very rude. If you see him often, he ridicules you. It's like pulling teeth just to get him to tell you what he thinks is wrong with you. He told me I didn't need to take my heart pills and I was wasting money having a cardiologist. ..though I am over 50% blocked and have high blood pressure . I've been a patient of Dr. Valls for about 10 years, and I'm a fan. Always first class treatment--thorough, careful, and efficient. Every time I see him, and after we discuss whatever brought me in, and the session is finishing up, he sits in his little chair, leans back--as though he's got all day just for me--and says, "Anything else?" And then he just sits there in a posture that suggests he's in no hurry, and gives me a chance to run things through my mind to see if there's anything else. HORRIBLE doctor, disrespectful awful MEAN staff, AND completely disfunctional group. I am so apalled i am actually going to file with a formal complaint platform.
