My experience is similar to the other negative reviews about rudeness. In my case it was about billing practices. After getting stonewalled by Cruz’s billing clerk about a negotiated discount, I tried to discuss the matter with Cruz directly. He outright refused to have a conversation about his own billing policy or his staff’s rudeness, and when I challenged him that his name was on the door, he (rudely) suggested I find another practice for my 3 kids, which I intend to do.

My kids have been seeing dr Cruz for the last 8 years. Just recently I had to take my son there for emergency visit, and he was completely rude. As a parent you're always worried about your child and I had questions regarding the issue, however, his ego was bruised because I questioned his work. He said I could take him to another doctor if I wanted to! I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, we all have bad days. If it does happen again, I will take him elsewhere, I am not paying for rudeness.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed that the dentist seemed to be almost offended or defensive when I was asking specific questions about the proposed treatment plan for my child. While his actual verbiage was civil, his tone and clipped delivery was borderline rude- definitely a 'my way or the highway' attitude. We chose to get a 2nd opinion, and found a dentist who has a great attitude and a more honest business model, with a plan 1/3 of the procedures.
