The service was excellent and we were very satisfied with our meal. We both had the Lasagna and it was a very generous portion.
Couldn't ask for anyting better! We three seniors with senior appetites split the frute de mare over homemade fettuccini with tomato cream sauce which was superb. Wine for one and excellent decaf complimented the meal and multiflavored marscapone icecream topped things off. We could easily have spent three times as much without getting anything better.
We hadn't been to Luigi's in more than 10 years, so we were very happy to see the quality was still as good as we remembered. Had a lovely dinner, the tortelini was the best I've ever tasted, and the other entree - scallops and shrimps on a bed of spinach - was equally wonderful. I asked if they could change up my scallops/shrimp as I'm not a huge fan of garlic oil, and the chef made them instead with a lemon/butter/wine sauce. I wanted to lick the plate!
