I attended a birthday party at Luigi's. The wait staff was very attentive to the 70 or so guests, which included about 10 children, under the age of 12. I felt the salad could have been fresher. The greens were beginning to wilt and had that sharp taste that is a tell-take sign, so many of us did not finish our salads because of that. The chicken parmigiana was good, not great, however the spaghetti was excellent and the tomato sauce/gravy was tasty. Both the birthday cake and tiramisu were beyond excellent. Luigis is old reliable. I never had a bad meal, service is always good, good drinks and a great place to take clients for lunch or dinner. It is very cozy. Its popularity makes for a noisy atmosphere almost every night. Not too bad if you like some life to a place.
