History Established in 2008. Luigi's Pizzeria began as a labor of love for cancer patients in the Luigi's founder Luisa Ward'sbackyard pizza over. It has grown to a thriving business in two Houston locations, soon to be three! As a first generation Italian immigrant Luisa emigrated to America to build a life and family in her newly adopted homeland. With a career spent working with cancer patients, Luisa began serving homemade pizza to her cancer patients in the Texas medical center. As word of Luisa's famous pizza spread an... read more

Top Notch Luigi's has the best pizza I have tasted this side of Portland, OR. At their Almeda location, my son and I shared a 16" New York Style Thin Crust Pizza with three toppings, and he added a salad. The pie was delivered hot and fresh with generous toppings. Sauce and cheese were very good and the crust was superb: crunchy with a little char, creamy and well flavored inside. Overall flavors of the pizza were outstanding. My son's salad was, well, a salad. Pizza price good, $16 but $5 salad a little high. The pizzeria c... read more
Nice place and great tasty pizza!!
Flighty Service but Delicious Pizza – A friend recommended trying Luigi's, and my wife and I stopped by to check it out last week. I don't know Houston geography too well yet, but the location seems out-of-the-way. Regardless, the pizza was delicious. We got two and ate half of each (and boxed the rest up for leftovers). One was made with fresh mozzarella, and the cheese was great at first, but as it cooled it lost some of its pazzaz. The other pie was a cheese pizza with Canadian bacon and green peppers. This one was great,... read more
little pizza gem – Delicious pizzas! And has gelato and fruit smoothies too. A welcomed break from McDonalds and Subway for the HCC student. Unfortunately for them, their location does not bring a lot of traffic as San Jacinto does, so go there before they go out of business. It's worth it!!!
This is a Gem! BYOB a plus.! – We were visiting Houston and found this place on the internet. From the moment we entered the pizzeria, Luisa (owner) treat us like if we were family. You can bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy your favorite pizza or salad with the wine of your preference. No matter if it's and Insignia or a Beringer the corkage is on the house. If you have a young family they will find kids and adults alike, playing Bocce on the outside. In summary this is a great (and unexpensive) place to enjoy fantasti... read more
Best New York Style Pizza in Houston! + BYOB! – My wife and I love pizza, and some of our favorites around Houston are Star, Colina's, and Late Nite Pie. Luigi's is right up at the top with these other great pizzas in Houston. Frankly, it is the best new york style pizza we have found in houston. The owners are extremely friendly, and its BYOB as well! I personally love the Caprese, FRESH basil, moz, garlic and Louigi's sauce, all on perfectly cooked thin and crispy dough!
Editorial Review – Heat your taste buds up with hot, authentic Italian pizza prepared by Chef Giuseppe Marino and cool your dessert craving with flavorful gelatos directly from Italy at Luigi's Pizzeria in Houston.
