YUMMY What can I say this place is great they have the best Italian bakery in all of Fairfield county. Their canollis are to die for. The staff is quick with orders which is good because they are always crowed. Their prices are a little steep but well worth it to get authentic pasterys like these. If your inthe area stop by you wont be dissappointed PROS: Wonderful Pasterys CONS: Pricey

Disappointing.... Luigi’s has seen a tremendous decline over the last few years. It pastries are inconsistent and in some instances embarrassingly amateurish. It is unfortunate; they used to be one of the premiere Italian pastry shops in the area. Head south on Main Street the extra ten minutes to DelPrete’s…

Unsatisfactory I didn't care for the pastries at Luigi's in Bridgeport. They didn't taste fresh and were overpriced. I wouldn't recommend Luigi's to anyone who wants a good pastry.

Meh ... pretty dissapointed I recieved complaints about my wedding cake tasting stale and not having enough filling. When i looked closly to it, the fondant job looked like it was done by a 5 year old. Ive made fondant cakes myself that have come out way better. If you are looking for seemless, non-cracking-shifting-or falling fondant...dont come here for a wedding cake. Our cake came with our wedding package, we paid an extra $200 for fondant and canoli filling. I guess you get what you pay for. They didnt even put the flow... read more

I was a guest at a wedding on July 18th, 2009, that had a cake from Luigi's. It was the worst tasting cake I ever had....it was definitely stale...I have baked for 40 years and know a stale cake when I taste it; hard, dry & no taste. VERY, VERY disappointed considering they are suppose to have one of the best reputations in the state of CT!!!!! Would NEVER consider ordering a cake from them!!!! This cake was VERY COSTLY......A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!! THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF WITH A COUPLE OF TASTY SHEET CAKES CUT UP IN ... read more

We have gone to this bakery for years, to include our wedding cake and cakes for other occasions. There is no pastry shop like them. They are also very good in terms of ordering goods to be delivered to restaurants and parties. They have always gotten a delivery to the right place on time. I especially recommend their rum cakes and their cannolis, but everything is great. We don't live nearby any more, but any time we are in the area, we go there to get some pastries. You have to try them out! The service is great, even for ... read more
