I have decided to leave Dr Ludwigs office because of his inability to accommodate my busy work schedule with remote visits for prescription refills. Dealing with him and his secretary caused my anxiety to worsen... making this whole experience a huge contradiction.
A truly excellent listener and investigative psychiatrist. Not someone who will rush to prescribe but will attempt to delve into the root of the problem. In short, the kind of psychiatrist you want and need, but not the one whose advice is easily followed as it is not always easy to swallow.
Canceled an appointment on me without proper notification.
Good thoughtful doctor who has managed my mood disorder successfully for over a decade. Yes he takes time to carefully review your chart in your presence and i have no objection to that, in fact quite the opposite im glad that he is. He runs all the necessary tests regularly to insure kidney function is not impacted by the prescribed meds. I dont find him condescending but he does lose patience if you speak over him rather than listen, so i listen and try not to interrupt. Thats not too much to ask. Stay away! Where to start with this awful experience. I stopped seeing him over a year ago for several reasons (condescending beside manner, tardiness) but I come back now to write this review because now my current (and far superior doctor who is 1/3 the price) asked him for my previous medical records, and his office told me they have a "copy fee" for releasing medical records or 75 cents a page!
