Had eye surgery. The office Automatically schedules your Post Operatvie checks at 14 days. So got charged for post op rechecks. Come to find their guideline is to bill post op checks AFTER 10 days. They automatically make the appointments fir patients at 14 days. This is NEVER told to the patient. We are just advised of dates of the post op recheck. In spite of them Acknowledging to me this is not a good practice they refused to change or correct this and charging me.
Found them devoid of compassion. Draconian procedures blamed on virus; not practiced by other healthcare providers. Would not let me as a support person be with my wife during her appointment. If I was a dog there wouldn't have been a problem. In my opinion this is assembly line healthcare at its worst. The process seems more important than people. Recent visits to cardiologist, gyn, and dentist no problem; screening , mask and we were good to go TOGETHER. Wife almost fell after appt. because I wasn't there to assist. Great... read more
