The BEST cake shop in San Antonio – I have been buying cakes from Lucy's for about 30 years, and with 6 kids and 12 grandkids I buy lots of cakes for our celebrations! They always do a wonderful job, they are reasonable, and EVERYONE loves the taste! I just ordered one today because the birthday girl (turning 28) ask me.... It is going to be a Lucy's cake! They can be busy, but worth every minute if you do have to wait in line when you pick it up! Try them, trust me you will NOT be disappointed.
Don't Talk about your customers behind their backs . – So its early in the morning and I call for the price of a cake no big deal a simple cake and I do mean simple. Worst cake ever! – I went to Lucy's cake shop expecting the best cake and service since I always hear good remarks about it and see the long lines awaiting cake pick-ups. I ordered a tres leche cake for my son's birthday party. When everyone first saw the cake, they all thought it was so pretty and looked yummy. Then next comes the slicing of the cake. Like em – Have gone to Lucy's in San Antonio for many years. I go to them because I am not capable of doing the work they can do. The cakes have great taste and when I buy a basic cake for morning coffee at the office they are as inexpensive as the grocery store but much better taste. They help so many people with cakes that I don't know how they do it all which if I had a complaint it would be that sometimes you have to wait in line to get helped but that is a small price to pay. Terrible Customer Service! Take your business else where. – I couldn't beleive my ears while I was standing in line to order a cake this past week. The manager stood there in front of other customers, she was chastising this young lady for a complaint she made about them. Really? If a customer is unhappy, well then they are unhappy. Horrible Place! Ghetto Staff and Owners! – My daughters 1st Bday Party....need I say more about the importance of this cake. I was extremely excited to order my cake from Lucys as this was the shop to get your cake from if your from the south side. Hell no! Never again! They got the cake order wrong. horrible service – I've been all about Lucy's cakes since I was a kid. My parents bought me a cake from there for my first cake when I was tiny. I have fond memories of the shop and the cakes.
