She actually listens to my concerns and can help me fully understand treatment. She is a fantastic doctor.
Dr. Lucy doesn’t even act like a real doctor. I explain my problems to her and literally every single time I go there she says “I’m not worried about you”. Even when i went to her about my dizziness several times & every time she would say she’s not worried about me. So of course I had to go to a different doctor. She is the worst doctor I have ever met. And she’s rude to my mom. And everything my mom and I think she says it’s completley wrong. And she hasn’t given me a physical in over 2 years!
I had recently moved to the area and was seeking a PCP. I met Dr. Lucy who was incredibly rude and judgmental about my health concerns. You do not go to a new Doctor to be talked down upon and judged for explaining your medical history and mental health concerns. I had never encountered such poor bedside manner from a medical professional in my life. I ended up walking out and returning to my PCP an hour away for proper care. Does not encourage self-determination or empowerment of her patients

I would like to say she doesn't listen to a word you say! For example I explained to her the medications my previous doctor in New Jersey had me on for depression and she changed all of my prescriptions and didn't agree with my old doctor which mentally and emotionally messed me up for a while! Second she has her dog named rusty roaming around the office and it nibbled at my 14 month old daughter! she's completely unprofessional and I would have my worst enemy go to her!
Dr Lucy has been my doctor for over 20 years. I can always get a quick last minute appointment if I need to. She is a terrific doctor, and always kind but straight to the point. Her office staff is wonderful as well.
Doc Lucy is a throwback to a time when your doctor took the time to actually understand you and your family. She is very unique in this day of minute clinics & multi tiered practice treatment paradigms. Never stodgy and full of lots of geeky, nerdy humor & knowledge. She has a definitive personality. Her approach to care is very balanced, she does not throw pills at problems, she approaches treatment and diagnosis with skill, experience, & training. She stays abreast of medical advances.
