This rental property received one star because I absolutely love the inside of my duplex and how I’ve been able to decorate it, however the problem is management and maintenance with the upkeep of the property. Lucra Real Estate recently sold Tinsley Place to City Gate Residential. Tenants were given no notice of the sale. We were locked out of the online tenant portal, so we unable to access our leases, which we were stored on the portal. We are also unable to access the history of maintenance requests. Now two out of the three gates are not working. Despite calling City Gate Residential twice, I have not heard back and the gates haven't been working for the past three days. This place made absolutely no attempt to make promised repairs to the house I moved in to, 8 months later when I moved out there were still no repairs made. They would not exterminate pests. A water leak under the kitchen sink started, when notified they waited days and days to send someone to fix it. In the end, the entire kitchen floor bubbled up and was ruined. They have some of the cooler townhouses available in Waco. The staff made a point to help me find the floor plan I wanted after relocating from LA. Even offered a more expensive floor plan to my family at the same cost of the desired floor plan while construction was completed. Great location near lots of eating and downtown!
