Best. Store. Ever! Any place that allows you to drink beer and wine while you shop is a winner! The fish and chips last Friday were also amazing, and the steaks that I bought to cook for dinner were top quality. This place is awesome!
I was needing some snack food and Ice for a show in Ann Arbor, so I dropped in to Lucky's Market for groceries. I grabbed some apples and grapes then went wandering for some ice. The smell of freshly cooked food emanated from the Deli section grabbing me by the nostrils and tugging me across the store. I was getting hungry anyway, so I perused the offerings. 3 strikes and I'm out. ALWAYS have things on my bill that I didn't purchase. Always have to go back in and have them credit my card (which somehow takes "23 days" to be refunded), not to mention emailing my concerns has gotten me nowhere. That crap combined with the fact that they hire sloths as cashiers, I'd rather pay a little extra $ and go somewhere else.

Yesterday I purchased the pre-packaged chicken parmigiana meal. It was awful. The overriding taste was bitterness. It didn't taste like chicken or breaded chicken. More like bitter cardboard. The marinara sauce was equally flavorless. The roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts were okay. I threw it away without even offering it to the dog. On a positive note, I also bought and sampled the black bean smothered burrito. It was delicious. Good favor, fresh ingredients.
