I don't understand the negativity! I've been going to Lucky Star for years, and I've always had a perfect pedicure. I ask for the owner Hoi. She does an excellent job and remembers my preferences. They have spa chairs and a large selection of nail colors. I've recommended it to my (picky) friends, and they like it, too. I say give them a try. Helen is also good.
Worst nail place in Nampa! my daughter and I've gone about 4 times now, today was the last! She overcharges repeatedly and is constantly trying to up sell. Her "5 minutes" means at least 20 and she rushes you thru with poor service and poor quality. She's near our house but I'll drive to avoid that place again!
One person I went to on a continual basis would always try to sell me something more or just add something to my nails & charge me for it. Be aware, the top coat put on after the nail polish is not included in the price. (It is a gel overlay that is usually free everywhere else.) I got into it with this lady twice and I am finally going to someone else there that I feel is very nice. I will continue to go to her since it is located by my house. Did my French manicure in 10 minutes!!! What the?! The job was horrendous. Removing it with nail polish as soon as I get home. So mad! $19 down the toilet just like that
My mother and I both went to get our nails done. I went for a set and she had a fill. We paid about three dollars difference not to mention they rushed through the appointment! The lady didn't speak very good english and I asked for almond shaped nails and all she could say was "you mean oval" ..ugh! Then she told me I had old lady nails (I'm 23)! Then once we were done and were paying they tried to up sale us! Three days later I had a nail break! Never again!
