I dine in and the cashier and server were very friendly and nice. It was a warm atmosphere. The decorations are very pretty and welcoming. My friend and I ordered Thai tea, iced coffee, along with soy sauce drunken noodle. The total came out as around 31$. We got the level 4 out of 5 spice level. The noodles were not spicy for us but it was delicious and yummy! The drinks were alright but overall we had a fun and amazing experience! We will definitely come back to try the other options.
Though ordering right at the counter when you walk in catches you off guard, the rest of the experience easily makes up for it. The restaurant boasts an excellent vibe, and the kitchen delivers remarkably quick service without sacrificing quality. Communication, presentation and delivery of a dish that is to the customer’s specifications is important. Unfortunately, this establishment met none of these. The chicken fried rice was too spicy even though I ordered no spice with the exception of the Pork Egg Rolls that were temperature ready and very good. I honestly never write reviews but I am writing to BEG you to keep the pineapple fried rice on the menu year round As a long time vegan, this ability to modify this to be vegan makes it, hands down, THE BEST dish I have had in Des Moines to date. It hits those comfort food needs in all the right ways and if I could have it in the middle of winter, I would be ordering weekly. Pretty please consider this 🤞🤞🤍
