They were really really helpful and kind and very efficient. As is always the case with UCSF, I was treated really well and I feel lucky to be able to have the help that I get from UCSF.
Dr. Kohn was very personable, caring & did a swift diagnosis.
My teen son saw Dr. kohn today. He had previously been to this location and saw a couple other doctors that are no longer there. I sure hope she stays a long time because she is incredible. Not only did she address all my sons questions she had me come in at the end to see if I had any questions as well. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and made my son who is 15 years old to feel very comfortable.
Dr. Kohn was incredibly patient, thorough, and thoughtful when handling a biopsy on my 8 year-old son. He has unfortunately been through a terrible motor vehicle accident in the past and is quite nervous around doctors. Dr. Kohn finished the biopsy before my son even realized she was doing it - that is how amazing she is!!! She also not only took her time as he eased into the appointment, but also spent time after the appointment explaining care of the wound over the next few days. Dr. Kohn saw my son at the Marin clinic. He was very nervous going into the appointment. She made him feel at ease, talking through everything she was doing and spending extra time explaining each step of the process. He needed something biopsied, something that would normally cause intense anxiety, but Dr. Kohn, talked him through the procedure.
