My family and I test drove a new Lucid Gravity. These are the problems that arose: the key not unlocking the car, the car not detecting the key, the Autopark function not detecting parking spots, the driver side mirror not closing, and - weirdest of all - only the right-side mirror lowering when reversing (no way to change/configure this). We were in the market for a Lucid until this test drive. Gosh 😂

Honestly, I’d steer clear of buying a Lucid. Yeah, it looks sharp and drives great when it’s working. Problem is, it usually isn’t. The warranty feels useless in practice, and Lucid will nickel-and-dime you for stuff that’s clearly their fault—manufacturer defects and bad design choices. Just a few of the issues I’ve had: getting stranded, GPS and audio cutting out every 20 minutes, key fob not working, electronic aids failing constantly. And Lucid’s responses? Honestly laughable.
