It was my birthday celebration. I was at the end of the table and everyone else on the sides. Ed, our waiter asked at the beginning how the checks would be. After we told him, he then ask my daughter if she could move next to me since she was paying for mine! I look at him and said, I really don’t think that’s necessary, surely you can remember we’re together and if not, we’ll remind you when we’re ready for the checks!! From the moment you step into Luciano’s in South End, you are immersed into the authentic look and feel of a true Italian restaurant. The cadence is spot on. The service is exquisite. The food? Like it was made by my Nonna (grandmother). A true delight.

What an awesome restaurant! The food was amazing and our server Ed was out of this world good. He recommended several things which were all on point. The chicken parm was the best I’ve ever had. My spouse actually wasn’t a fan of the white sauce for the mussels and without one bit of hesitation, Ed grabbed the dish and said he’d be back in a flash with the mussels in red sauce. The restaurant itself was very romantic with table cloths, candles, and dim (but not too dim) lighting. 5 stars to Luciano’s!
