We had the meatballs, focaccia, frito misto and the short rib pin wheels. All of the food was excellent and the service was great.
This was easily the most forgettable and underwhelming meal we had on our trip. The portions are inconsistent. The chicken cacciatore was huge enough to feed 3, whole the Spaghetti Napoletana wasn't even enough to feed one. Service was neared a non-existent. We only received a butter knife to eat the chicken with, and when we finally got the waitresses attention, she brought over a steak knife carrying it to the table like she was going to stab us. Luchini Italian Restaurant was a lovely find for a cozy Italian meal. The vibe is warm and relaxed—perfect for a casual date night or dinner with friends. We loved the fresh, classic flavors: pasta cooked al dente, rich sauces that taste homemade, and a wood-fired pizza with a perfectly crisp, chewy crust. Portions were generous and the service was friendly and attentive without rushing us. Save room for dessert if you can—the tiramisu was a great finish. A solid Italian spot we’d happily return to.
Our waiter Frank was so helpful and kind. He helped us with the menu and gave us updates on our order the whole night. The food was amazing and we got a great deal where you split an appetizer and a salad, each get an entree, and split a pasta and a side. It was so much food but a great deal. The grilled octopus was the best I’ve had. Delicious!!
Like everything in Vegas, the prices are high. Most of our party of 6 were happy with the size of the dish they ordered. However I ordered the Spinach and Burrata Ravioli. It was described as handmade and a work of art. What arrived was SIX ravioli squares, with the center filling about 1” in size. So if you want to pay $6 for each bite of food and stop at six total bites, order this dish. Don’t come hungry.
