I took my sick cat in on an emergency visit. They were amazing. They saw us right away and were tender and understanding. Their diagnosis was correct and after three days of medication my cat is on the mend.
I had a beautiful 1/2 Maine coon cat (male) named Toby who became sick over the Christmas holidays - (23 Dec 2015 - 3 Jan 2016). Although I lost my boy I knew I had done the best for him. The Lucerne Veterinary Hospital staff were amazing. They were there to accept a referral over the New Year's Holiday. They performed surgery, lab work and biopsy and then transferred & transported Toby to the Brewer emergency clinic after surgery. I am grateful for all they did for my baby. Lucerne hospital is the best place to take your animals. Very compassionate crew.
This is a place you want to take your pet because they put value ahead of dollar. They are the most compationate facility that I have ever delt with. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

God bless the people at Lucerne Veterinary Hospital. When I first moved to Maine, my Jack Russell got very sick, overnight. They took him in as soon as they opened their doors and watched him throughout the day as I couldn't miss work. Today, when I brought my 2 dogs in, they didn't hesitate to see my friend's dog who needed a physical but wasn't on their schedule. They even helped me load my pack into the car after our visit. They are kind and loving and I trust them with my whole heart to take care of my animals.
