food was outstanding but our server could not hide their disdain for us. wish the hostess had been our server.
Yesterday, my friend and I visited this little restaurant. At first, everyone was very nice and welcoming. However, as soon as we sat down and mentioned that we only wanted tea and some of their wonderful desserts, the attitude seemed to change. The person taking our order immediately changed her facial expression, and from that moment on, I started to feel unwelcome. The server threw away the 1/3 plate of pasta leftover I wanted packed to go, handed me a bag with just bread, and omitted the fact that she forgot my request, tossed my pasta, and only remembered in time to save 1 piece. I’m sure she intentionally omitted this information to ensure her tip remained unaffected. I saw her glance out at us from the inside, likely wondering if I noticed her mistake.
