LOVE this place! Full of cultural and scientific wonders, the way it's designed makes you feel like you're in a French curiosity shop in the 1930's. I ended up buying a $10 pack of playing cards, that's how sexy it is in there! Beautiful design.
Unfriendly help – I went shopping on Ballard Ave yesterday to re-discover all the cute shops. I had great experiences at every shop but Lucca! I walked in and said hello, the woman behind the register looked me up & down and did not answer me. I just came from the dog park so I wasn't "done up" but that doesn't justify the cold shoulder.
