Service was not up to my standards this time. The host was a better server than the man we got. Not once did he ask us how our food was, if we wanted something other than water to drink, and he brought us our bill before even offering us dessert. Love this place but left with a bad taste in my mouth this last experience.
Still our fave restaurant in Bodega Bay. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Yesterday we had the seafood pasta with garlic cream sauce and the calamari steak. Both dishes were delish!!
My go-to restaurant when I want great seafood. Never had anything that wasn't top of the line & delicious. On one occasion I brought my 2 daughters & 3 grandchildren. Food was wonderful,as usual, but I did have a problem with the waitress. She told us there was no French bread left & I saw other wait staff delivering to 2 other tables. My husband and I stopped for lunch at Lucas Wharf on Monday , so glad we did. We both ordered the fish and chips and really enjoyed how fresh and crispy the fish was. Will be sure to stop again when we're driving through Bodego Bay next time.
Oysters were about the freshest I’ve had and the rockfish sandwich reminded me of a grilled grouper sandwich at Marco Island Marriott, FL.
The bread was stale, however the lunch was excellent. Service was ok. I don’t understand why there is a 2% service charge for the back help when they get a salary. Instead you should consider splitting the tip we leave to be shared with everyone involved. If you feel you are not paying them enough, maybe you should think about increasing their wages by increasing your prices to the public, but you will need to consider how the people will feel and accept the higher prices.
