I have a very complicated medical and surgical history. Dr. Wiegand took the time to figure out exactly what was wrong. He did not just jump to surgery and offered a conservative approach that is working!

Had an InterStim with Dr. Wiegand. One of the best decision I ever made! I am so happy now. I'm not always just looking for a bathroom. I got my life back!!

Had an InterStim procedure performed Dr. Wiegand. It was the WORST experience I ever had. Unexperienced, unprofessional, and in his medical notes, he said "everything" went well, which was an outright lie and he knew it. Dr. Wiegand is unfit to perform an InterStim and I would advise seeking another surgeon to perform this procedure.
My 18 year old daughter needed bladder reconstruction and we were not able to find a doctor to help her. Finally one of her consulting doctors suggested Dr. Wiegand. He was able to performe the necessary surgery and she is finally well again. In addition, he and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate her school schedule and make sure she had everything needed to make her experience a success.
Overall excellent, I had many concerns and I felt like he understood and respected my issues. Surgery went well.
