I have been a customer for 11 years. I called last week to have a pump replaced under my kitchen sink. The plumber who was sent out couldn’t price it and said he had to turn it over to the estimator for a price and I would be called the next day. The estimator didn’t call. I had to call two days later and was told the estimator wasn’t in. I tried again the next day which was July 3rd and they were closed. Called again first thing July 6th. Laying out the facts. Paid 488$ flat rate for a job that took less than 1,5 hours. Had outside hose replaced. Equivalent matériels less than 50$ at Home Depot. So that leaves roughly 438 for man hours and? Job was well performed, and works like it should. But the price seems excessive considering the amount of work that was required. First, the staff at Lucas Plumbing are the nicest most customer oriented people you will ever meet. We've used them for repairs as well as installing a bathtub. They're very responsive and go above and beyond to do a good job.
