This doctor really frustrated me. I went into the exam room. I had tears running down my face. I told him I can't get out of the bed in the morning due to pain and that I have a history of issues in this area. He should have given me an ortho referral, possibly an MRI script, and stronger NSAID guidance. But no. I suffered for literally 6 days until I wound up in the hospital following his dumb guidance, thinking maybe he was right cause he has DO at the end of his name. Very frustrating experience. I found the doctor to be dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to work collaboratively with me on my healthcare. Rather than listening and discussing reasonable requests, I felt like I was treated as an inconvenience. I ultimately decided to leave the practice and find a physician who values communication, respect, and a patient-centered approach.
I have been to many doctors and none compare to the care that Dr. Couch provides. I've been seeing him consistently for a bit now and the time he takes to make sure I'm heard and that my medical needs are met is unmatched. I recommend him to anyone looking for a great family doctor; my only complaint is that he can't also be the pediatrician for my children.
The office is very polite and Dr. Couch is very knowledgeable, and an outstanding professional.
