You don't even get seen by a Doctor, I was treated by a nurse and saw a Doctor online for not even 2 minutes. Said I didn't have strep throat but gave me antibiotics anyways.. Doesn't make sense and they didn't even swab my throat when they said it was extremely infected. He also used his phone as a light to look at my throat
It's very concerning that the only walk-in clinic in Lucan doesn't even have a in person doctor available to be seen, the doctor at this clinic is only virtual. So essentially if your matter is something that the virtual physician believes needs to be looked at in person they can deny giving you any medical attention, leaving your next best option is heading to one of the out of town hospital's, which could leave you on a waiting room for multiple hours. Lucan NEEDS A IN PERSON WALK-IN CLINIC DOCTOR!
We went in to get our Covid and flu shots and the pharmacist (can't remember name) is super nice! He did an amazing job, fully explained our shots and was very kind. Didn't realize that we could get these shots in Lucan.
