Dr. Walsh has been a amazing supportive help to my problem with depression and anxiety , Stephanie , one of the receptionists is incredibly kind. This place has helped me deal with CPTSD and all the ruckus that goes with it. I feel so lucky to have LSU Dr.'s that CARE.
My residents have been great but the billing and front desk is absurd. I say not to bill my insurance and they do it anyway. I am so fed up.
I tried booking an appointment today. The front desk staff was short, cut me off and did not want to assist me. I requested to see Dr. Walsh. When the front desk lady told me he was not taking new patients I asked for the names of doctors who were taking patients. The front desk lady kept saying I needed a referral and appointments are not available until march instead of answering my question. i reassured her that is ok and I would still like the names so I can do my due diligence and pick the right doctor for me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My experiences here were distressing, frustrating and difficult. I did not have my mental health needs met. I want to be fair and voice that I was treated with respect and compassion by the doctors I saw but my complaint is with the disorganization of this institution. Getting refills for medication is extremely difficult. I followed all of the requests according to their policy.
