Absolutely incredible staff at the Lowman Home. One of our loved ones had to be moved there so they could better assist him with his neurological issues, and the experience for him has been awesome thus far. They take care of him 24 hours a day. and he is really enjoying his time at the Lowman home. The social workers and nurses are very attentive and always meet our needs. I can’t say enough good things about the Lowman home in Chapin.
Wish I could give a minus 1. I can not believe this place has a high rating. I witnessed neglect of the highest when my mother was conversing here after being ill. After just a few days, we decided to bring her home and take care of her ourselves since the staff was so neglectful. I blame the management because the place was understaffed and some of the staff were not properly trained which you can not blame them for. We are members of the Wellness Center and have been for several years, not residents, but as members we participate in many activities, classes, the restaurant, and trips with residents and staff. Everyone is extremely supportive and encouraging of each other. We have observed the staff is attentive and respectful of residents and their needs. The buildings and landscaping are well maintained.
