I went to today to buy a new pot for a plant. I tried to remove one from the shelf to discover it was totally full of water. I am soaked from head to toe (ruining my favorite shoes) and the associate wasn't bothered to ask me if I was ok (on offer a towel, assistance, etc) as I was literally wringing out my clothes. She muttered "sorry" as I was squishing back to my car. Angry, I called the manager only to be offered 20% off the next time I came in. Definitely not going back.
I love shopping at Lowe's, we've built two houses and a majority of the materials were bought at Lowe's as well as the decor materials. However, as much as I love Lowe's, I also love Jimmie Johnson and the #48 team. I have been in a good number of Lowe's across the country including Charlotte, NC and El Cajon, CA (Jimmie's home town) and have yet to see anything in any of these stores that shows that Lowe's sponsors or supports the 7 Time Champion! I purchased a dryer online last night thinking it would be delivered "as soon as tomorrow" or maybe latest the end of the weekend since there are five in stock. I then received a call this morning from customer care for my store (770 Daniel Ellis, Charleston, SC) saying the earliest they could deliver would be October 1st.
